Shane’s story

Shane joined Talent Match and was allocated a Youth Coach and they worked together on an initial assessment and action plan.

The Youth Coach worked with Shane providing one to one support including writing a CV, jobsearch related activities, completing job applications and interview skills.

Through the help of the Youth Coach and a local apprenticeship company, Shane was successful and secured a job at G Watson Tool Hire in Boldon.

On completion of his apprenticeship, Shane was taken on a full time permanent contract and is still there today doing really well.
